These are not cold hardy in 5 or 6. Just take inside when you would most other tropicals. I’m in zone 5 and mine overwinterd just fine, no stress at all. Thrived happily like any other house plant...

The Kokopo I just recieved is in what appears to be a mixture of sand, mulch/woodchips and dirt. The mulch and dirt seem to be of similar ratio, like half and half.
