Question Dwarf Cavendish losing Maroon Blotches?

I have a Dwarf Cavendish Banana Plant that has recently put up a new leaf. With the new leaf however, it has lost its trademark Maroon blotches and is now all green. Is anything wrong with my banana plant?

Your good.
When small and immature a few varieties have the pattern and soon loose it as they mature gradually turning to a deep green.
Some patterns are stronger than others.

The pups that the plant produces will have the telltale pattern so you may enjoy it again.

There are ornamental varieties like Zebrina which keep the pattern.

Yeah, but the Dwarf Cavendish plant I have is only 2 months old.

Extraordinarily normal behavior. The red blotches are dependent on age and conditions and are in no way related to the health of the plant, they fade and disappear as the plants get older.

Oh, but Gabe, my Dwarf Cavendish plant is roughly 2 months old and still has the ring of 3 small leaves back from when it was a pup.

My banana plant is at most 30cm tall though, and it's only 2 months old.

The plant is 60 days old in your possession but maybe 120+ days old in the greenhouse which it was grown....before you owned it.
Indoor plants do not grow like outdoor plants.
A lot has changed.

Post a photo if possible

Looks like you have a good photo of your dwarf cav. in your photo gallery.
It’s a healthy plant so all going well, you should get some nice pups with maroon markings .If you have the space, and wish to, you'll be able to transplant the pups to come. Congratulations on a healthy plant.

Your plant looks great. I think with those the amount of sun determines how much maroon they will have too, and as the others say, eventually(unfortunatly) they will just grow out of it.

That and....plants gonna do what plants gonna do.

If you want one that will keep the marroon markings even with maturity go with Zebrina , Sumatrana X Cross or Sikkimensis Bengal Tiger.

Oh, ok. So the amount of sun actually affects their maroon spotting?
