Since Sundra & wstrickland1 posted pics of their newly acquired Truly Tiny's - Here's mine!
I got it last year as a Tissue Culture but it died back due to the Texas Winter storm. The corm had a lot of time to develop last year so it sent out 'True' Truly Tiny pup's! They are adorable and look much different than when it was just a tissue culture. If you look closely there are actually 3 different pups. It really looks like a true 'bonsai' banana. I have no idea how I would even separate pups that small and close together. I'm also growing Super Dwarf Cavendish and it's pup looks HUGE compared to Truly Tiny. Here's the Truly Tiny pups compared to a Super Dwarf Cavendish pup - BIG difference And here it is next to a small Manzano pup from a Tissue Culture plant from last year.

Those are sooo cute! <3<3
Hopefully one of us gets them to fruit, (probably you or wstrickland1 lol) because the fruit are also supposed to be super small ![]() Side note: That Manzano is beautiful, love the markings. |

the original corm looks like it grew pretty nice. Damn shame it pooped out on you. Super cool pups though. Can't wait to see the Barbie & Ken fruit haha
