Thanks Richard! I can't wait see them towering above the house. Sounds like you need to migrate North a little. Is it still that humid now?

![]() I have a 3 1/2 yr old ice cream that sorta stopped growing (in a pot at south window & a grow lite) so yesterday I cut a 7ft & a 4ft pup off of 8ft (pstems) mama to give mama more energy. I left a 2 ft pup on. I'm still hoping for a flower by next summer.
Mama is in 65gal smart pot & the pups are now in their own 23 gal pots. It sure looks tropical in the living room!

![]() I ordered a 5gal needle palm with some of my christmas money. Still waiting on it to come in the mail, it will be next week. I already have a spot in my greenhouse and a pot ready for it. I also have 5 neddle palm seedlings but after I heard how slow they grow I decided to buy one larger plant. I have a spot on the SE side of my house picked out for it already so it gets part sun and it will be protected from most wind there.

![]() I planted tomatoes and eggplants--tomatoes include Arkansas Travler, Black Plum, Better Boy, and Belgium giant--eggplants were a mix of white, purple and green varieties. A little too early for peppers.

![]() Love the Bromeliads, and would love to have an entire conservatory devoted to them and similar rainforest plants one day. Lottery? Otherwise, replanted a kaffir lily yesterday as well as a couple "rescue" African violets and a kalanchoe that needed a home.
