I finally got a little garden plot here on campus and am about to go out and plant a small ornamental hybrid I have (no name, but blooms at about 2ft), and also I'm going to try my luck with planting seeds in the ground.

Ok I was talking to a friend of mine at work she grew up in Delray beach FL. Does any one know or heard of a banana that tast like a pineapple? She told me that there used to be some from a tree in her gandpaps yard.

Finally got my Burmese Blue in the ground a couple weeks ago. Let's see if it survives this winter.

Yep...I've been trading like crazy. My wife thinks I'm completely nuts, but I tell her I've just gone bananas... };^) I'll have many pups next year for sale or trades. Our weather is s'posed to be around 80 degrees, but it's been rainy and cold lately. We're s'posed to get more rain on Friday and possibly the weekend. I already have my potted bananas under cover so they aren't too wet, but I'm hoping it warms up a little for the next few weeks. |
