It was too windy to head out last Thursday evening which is the only night my wife gets off early enough. Now it's too dark. Weekends and or mornings are my only chance now.

I'm signed up for a "fish off" on the fishing message board for this Sat providing they don't cancel due to the weather we are supposed to get. If no rain it will be held somewhere in OC.

You see the giant black sea bass one of the guys caught from the beach? Unbelievable!

Yeah it was successfully released. They estimated it at 125lbs. The guy who is posing with it a really big guy from what I hear.

He should never have pulled it from the water.The line should have been cut as soon as he realized what it was.

Then it would have a hook stuck in it's mouth, and depending on where the hook is it might not be able to eat until it rots away which could take long enough to kill it. To each their own I guess.
