Tons of wood chips, manure, grass clippings.. just keep layering it on.. it will create the conditions you are looking for.

Sounds like you started them right. If you want to push them hard you can supplement with something as simple as a balanced NPK product like triple 10 or 13.. I personally would leave well enough...

Can you give us more info? How and where you aquired the plant, fruiting height, open or closed petiole etc.. to me it looks like a namwah, but the bracts look a bit different than mine.. I also cant...
