Good work. I too am curious which way this cross was performed, technically whichever plant you list first is assumed to be the female, but this guideline is not always followed.

Musa itinerans 'India Form' has come back

While not as hardy as var. itinerans, this one is still very hardy. We had a true zone 7a winter here, with a low of 3F. The largest pseudostem was protected by a bag of leaves lying on top of it....
