70+ temps today with some sun so everyone went outside and got unwrapped. The unprotected ones look dead/dying. The wrapped ones look mostly okay with some frostbitten leaves. The inside ones are smugly spreading perfect leaves in the sun.

Temps aren't supposed to drop much below 50f this week, so everyone stays outside for a while.

We go back to low 80s for highs and mid 60s at nite starting Wed. Thank goodness! No rain for the next 5 days. Time to get all heavy chores done.

Cutting down 3 brazilllllll pepper trees all wound up with wild muscadine vines.

Painting in garage.

Planting a few fruit trees.

Getting down to Jensen and catch some pompano. They came back with the last cold front.

Make chile con carne with the leftover turkey. Hot --- to dumb down the turkey taste.

Guess the priority.

Fishing & planting trees? (that can wait till arbor day can't it?) :^)

Once Thursday gets here its suppose to be wet all weekend so my indoor chores involve getting my T-5's & T-8's up, keeping the Fireplace burning, I might make some chili, and I will smoke a cigar w/ my friend.. :^)

We finally got some rain! Happy for my road and my bananas!

Still haven't gotten to stop to check the grove yet. But I could see some brown leaves peeking out from that area.

Temps "dropped" to 48f here. Not exactly a freezing time, but more chilly than it was. My bananas that I cut back have already sprouted again.

This week is decent weather for fall. No Freezing, highs in 60's-70's. Now what's crazy is its going to be 72 or so on the 1st day of Winter.. Maybe winter will be better than fall has been so far.. Wishful thinking.. :^)

We haven't had a real frost and none are predicted through the month. Okay, my banana looks miserable but she began a new leaf which got shredded by wind so she's not pretty but very much alive. I'm considering carting my inside plants out for a few days and nights; I doubt it would hurt them. (Heck, I still have basil growing happily; that's always been my "weather" plant.) I'm heading out of town, maybe, on the 23rd so would bring them back in then.
