Your endlers look a lot like guppies. Are they related? Guess I need to look them up!

Did you check to see if you have the "Green" channel? They have different programming now. They used to feature shows like Living with Ed and stuff like that. They have expanded.

The endlers are related to guppies, so closely that the can cross breed. But I highly disagree with it and most others that raise them do also. The endlers are extinct in thew wild so the only pure breed ones left are those hobbyist have.

I get the Green channel, but I don't watch much on it.

How do the hobbyist know if they are breeding pure? Are there distinct characteristics that you can tell one from the other?

Well, I don't exactly know how to completely tell.

Probably just make sure that the breeder you get them from is breeding pure breed ones, and that they have never been in with any other live bearers.

Mine have some black in with them, so I am a bit questioning on them. But they don't show any guppy characteristics other then the color. So maybe mine are just a hybrid or something.

Hi Sherry and everyone. I looked at the forecast and we may see either freezing rain or a wintry mix on Monday. I can't believe it. I just have to dig up my gingers and store them in my shed and thats the only plant I'm worried about. I also looked outside today and my sunflowers are blooming. I thought the freeze would kill them but it didn't. The freezing rain probably will. But at least I can enjoy one last cheery flower. I hope everyone is having a great Friday.

I grew up near Birmingham, Alabama and beautyberry grew wild. I never knew the correct name for it. We called it something else that I wont say because it's an ugly word, but that's the only name I knew. Even my mother would say the word and she didn't use ugly words. We ate the berrys.

Hi Terry. That's too funny it was called a bad name! I'm curious what it was. I love that shrub and it's super easy to propagate either from cuttings or seeds.

Tommy, that's just great about your lemon tree. I can tell you're excited. Did you get my seeds yet? I have not got yours. I'm not surprised though at this time of year. Don't worry...they'll make it here I'm certain.


So Jordan, I took my iPad back and exchanged it for the biggest one...64 GB. I had a tough time transferring all my movies, music, games, and books onto the new iPad...but I finally figured it all out. Everything is back to normal...except for the movies. I'm getting there though. I thought I was loading them onto my iPad last night but they were downloading onto my laptop. Cool though, so I can watch them on there also, but I'm trying to get them back on my iPad. It's all mostly pretty easy really, I find. I haven't had too much trouble. Thanks for all your help.

Good morning everyone. I looked at the weather forecast and its just going to be a cold rain instead of freezing rain. Its still going to be in the 20s for lows but I'm glad that there won't be any ice

Just went running around today with grandparents. Got me another "goose-neck" lamp for my plants

All of the stuff in my AG is coming up now. So I have micro toms, marble peppers, and little blue peppers in it now.

We had Christmas dinner today at the Armory. That is really getting me in "THE MOOD" for Christmas!

Wow Janan that is great. Today we put up our Christmas tree. The past couple of years we didn't put one up but my sister wanted to have one for this year. I may cut the flowers from my sunflower and bring them indoors so I can enjoy them. I wonder if the unopened buds would still open up?

I'm glad you put your Christmas tree up. I love looking at it all lit up - it makes me happy. I put mine up the day after Thanksgiving. Sometimes I can't wait and put it up Thanksgiving evening. I leave it up until January 2nd.

My aunt and uncle are wanting my to go to ABC Warehouse tomorrow and pick out my Birthday present or something. I was thinking of picking out myself a cheap little camcorder or camera. My camcorder I have now is not working very well and I need a new one anyways.

That thing is the best toy I ever had.


Yup I just got home. I was out with a friend and we had a game of scrabble on my iPad in their car, before I went upstairs to my apartment. My friend thought it was just way too cool.


Ok so I was out today but I will spend tomorrow getting the bulbs ready to send off...and more seeds. I was able to buy some strong little boxes yesterday to mail the bulbs in so they don't get broken. I will also write "fragile" all over the box so they make it to you guys in one piece. No worries. You are gonna enjoy using them, I'm certain.

When my dad was alive, we put up our Christmas tree after Thanksgiving dinner. We bought some LED lights today and used those on the tree and they look much better than the regular ones. One day my mom and sister want to put up lights outside. I'm going to cut those sunflowers tomorrow. It won't hurt to try because the freeze may kill them

I've been decorating a little bit here and there. Today I got this beautiful LED church that lights up. It's about a foot and a half tall and I have it in one of my windows for Christmad. It's too nice. Maybe I'll try to get a shot of it soon.

I absolutely love the look of the LED lights too, Cam! Eventually I will have all my lights replaced with them, but I have to do it a little at a time because I have a LOT of lights! That's right - they will freeze anyway so you can see if it works then we will all know!

That sounds very pretty Sherry. I put up all LED lights for a friend. Her regualr lights always blew out so she replaced every single one with LED. They are kind of expensive but I guess they pay for themselves with the energy savings
