Good afternoon everyone. Sherry I found some crock pot recipes for chili that I want to try. I can't seem to chose which one though lol. The Tamale pie has been a favorite of my family now. I've cooked it twice already. Sherry I posted some pictures of my Thanksgiving cactus bloom in the Succulent and Cacti thread. I thought it was going to be red and white like another one I have but it turned out to be multi color (red,White,fuchsia, and orange)

Cam, your Thanksgiving cactus is lovely. I saw the shot. I bet you're very happy to have it.


I love chili. The spicier and hotter it is the better. I bet your slow cooker chili will be delicious, Cam. Great you're making a lot of good meals for the fam.

Been up since 4 this morning! UGH! That's why I try not to fall asleep too early which I did last night.

Cam will be up soon I know he is an early riser. That is a gorgeous blossom on your Thanksgiving cactus! I have a few tiny little buds on a few of my plants - they are some I bought after they put them on sale last year so I don't know the color on them yet. I hope I don't have blossom drop, if I don't I've got one that has a bunch on it. I will try to get a picture this morning.

Anyone growing Coffee? Here's my little plant...





Coffee plants are said to make very attractive houseplants and they will even produce coffee inside! I don't actually drink coffee but I still think it's cool to grow it.


So how's everyone's day going? I think I might make sticky honey garlic spareribs tonight. Just hanging out taking some shots right now. Here's a good one I got today of one of Janan's marbles...

Sherry those are so pretty! The glossy leaves on the coffee plant are festive looking to me. I saw in another thread the whole plant picture (marbles). It looks like a bonsai!

Thanks Janan and Sherry. Sherry I've grown coffee plants before. I had one for 3 years and it got pretty large but stupid mealybugs killed it. I love the leaves on it

I've never pruned it once but it's just naturally a very dainty and petite plant. I love it. Thank you for sharing it with my, Janan.


Yes the coffee plant is very intersting and I look forward to watching it grow.

Sorry I didn't answer anything for a while, I was in the ER at the hospital with an IV stuck in my arm. Had a really bad migraine and was out for this whole week.

Thanks for sending out some sponges Sherry I will be sure to send you something nice in the spring time Also thanks for the strawberries

Hopefully I wont go through something like that again...

At my physical I got subscribed some co-q-10 vitamins or something and some new pain relievers and some stuff. Hopefully they will help.

I gave up on debian on my ipaq desktop, trying to install openBSD now

Once it warms up again I will send you some seeds or something.

Do the alpine strawberries do well in the aerogardens? Are they very small?

The strawberry seeds I sent you are from the plant in the picture. I'm gonna get some off to Janan asap too because I think she'd like to grow them as well.


I wasn't sure if Cam was into them or not.

Wow Sherry, you always take great pictures. I was thinking about growing some of the gold bell peppers that Janan sent me because my mom said the price of peppers has gone up.

Thanks Cam. I like the shot too. Not as clear as I would have preferred and I know I could have got it clearer but I gave up. The light just wasn't quite right and I waited too late in the day to get the picture.


I have to say my favorite shot of all over the last few days, is this one...





I'm really enjoying my new dslr camera. It was well worth the money.
