Hi everyone. I had to do some serious weed pulling in a friend's yard and I have to go back tomorrow to finish. It was incredibly warm and humid this morning so I had to stop early.

Omg I am so excited...I just bought a DSLR camera!!! Here it is...
 Tomorrow I'm gonna shop for a great macro lens. Too cool, Tom! I love it. You are very welcome for the seeds. Janan, I got your 3 bulbs today!!!  Cam, Janan and I have another gift for you which I mentioned to you before...we got you the grow your own seed kit and a couple extra replacement bulbs for when you change them in 6 months. Yay...now you're all set for awhile. Again, Janan and I split the cost down the middle so it's from both of us. I also was able to pick you up your very own mammoth sunflower packet which I'll send along with the other stuff. I got everything together today when I went shopping and tomorrow I'm gonna box things up and go to the post office to send things off. How exciting. Oh and today I got some seeds for some incredible petunias. The packet was 10 bucks but when I post the picture of them you'll see why. They are stunningly gorgeous. Double and triple blooms! And oh the colors! Janan you will die! : ) |

Wow so cool Sherry! Thats wonderful that you got a new camera. I'm so excited about you and Janan's gift. I really appreciate that alot.! I saw someone down the street that has several of the Mammoth sunflowers and they had to stake them. Mine I couldn't stake so its drooping lol. I'll have to make note of that for next year. Wow 10 bucks!? I've never seen a double and triple blooming petunia. I can't wait to see it

Oh I'm so thrilled about it! Thanks you guys. I finally got it out of the box. It's such a beauty. I'll show it soon when I get it put together. I cannot believe I finally just did it.
I'm gonna get me an amazing lens to put in it too. I can only imagine my pictures with this thing.Thanks Tom, Janan, and Cam!  Don't rush me though. What if I can't use it well and take horrible pics with it?  I'm not totally confident just yet until I try it. I hope I can use it well eventually. It feels super great in my hand.Ok so here are those petunia seeds...  Now you see why they're so expensive? See the purple ruffly one Janan?! I'm allowed to use the camera for 14 days before deciding to keep it for good. If I return it within 14 days they'll give me a full refund. I have a feeling I won't be returning it though. Wow, is it ever cool. I just love it. Can't wait to get a fantastic lens.
Ok so about those petunias. Janan you're gonna love this... It says 'delightful blooms in a wide range of colors on compact plants'!!! It says they only grow 11 inches!!! Omg how cool is that?!  |

They get in some incredible ones. I sometimes get my best seeds from the oddest places. They had other special ones too and I didn't wanna tell you but I picked you up a couple of surprises! You gotta wait to know though... : ) |

Oh and Cam, here's your new 'grow anything' kit, with sponges, labels, and fertilizer included. You can sow your own seeds with this kit...
 Janan, here's the box with your three grow bulbs that fit your unit. The bulbs are different than the other ones...  Heres Cam's 2 pack but they're not the same...  : ) |

I'm thinking since I can get the three pack of bulbs for 10 bucks cheaper than aero-garden sells them for, you can get them from me when you need them, Janan.
Is there anything else anyone wants...speak now or forever hold your peace!  There's an herb collector container thingy and a seedling starter tray too. I'll be back there tomorrow so I can pick stuff up. Oh and there are the seed kits too, but I think my seeds are better so I don't buy theirs but if you guys want one I would. My miracle fruit seed is definitely germinating. Amazing how fast! I can't wait for my new stuff in my veggie pro to start coming up. Ok, gonna go read more about my new camera before I go to sleep. Bet everyone's asleep! Where I should be too.
So I got that macro lens today...  but these shots were taken with the lens that came with the camera...    Keep in mind I'm still a just beginner yet...  The fish were so beautiful...  But this guy was my favorite...  Another fish was mauve colored but this fella had a purple hue when you caught him in the right light...  Took this shot today as well, just goofing around and trying the new camera...  Can't wait to take some pics tomorrow with the macro lens. Imagine pictures of my little Henry with that lens!!! I'm LOVING this camera, to say the least! G'night, gang.  : ) |

Sherry those pictures look great! I just love the fish, it looks like they are floating in mid air. Fish are my favorite pets. I only have one though, he/she is a weather loach.

Good morning everyone. I rescued a plant today. I went to Lowe's and found a 'Pink Double Delight' coneflower on the clearance rack. It looked horrible and my mom kept telling me that I shouldn't get it, but I told her I could nurse it back to health. So the guy out in the garden center said it was $2 but when we went to the register one of the managers told me why am I paying 2 bucks for it and he told the cashier to give it to me for 50 cents lol. So I cleaned it up and re-potted it and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will make it.
