No, I just take good care about watering and air flow. I usually go on 1/2 seed depth on larger seeds and 3/4 on smaller.

Thanks Tony. I'm probably going to plant a few and save the rest just in case those dont make it. They grow incredibly slow and I still cant figure out why they died last year. Oh well I have a lot more than I had before lol

Thanks Tony, that's the site that I have been looking at. I did everything right and the seeds were viable but the leaves turned brown and then the whole plant died. I think it may have been frost damage and they couldnt recover

Today when I was watering all my little plant pots. I found out that several of my red yucca seeds have roots and some have small stems that are about to come up. I've only had them for 5 days and I cant believe they are already sprouting. I'll take pictures when they fully pop up

Thanks Cam!
![]() I'm going to sow some more marigold seeds today too because I accidently killed my other little sprouts by leaving a window open all night. ![]() I'll send ya some seeds later because I remember you said that marigolds are one of your favorites, Cam. Mine too. I have seeds for a dwarf type that only gets 6" tall and is an assortment of reds, mahoganies, & gold colors. I think you'd like them and they grow terrific indoors, even over the winter. ![]() : ) |

Time for planting here now as it is cool and damp - the 20 geranium seeds I planted on Sunday are nearly all up, and the tomatoes are several inches high - nice compact plants too. Waiting for periwinkles and busy lizzies to show themselves now, and have squash seed ready to sow. Geraniums are unobtainable here because of the humidity I think, so I can't wait to see if these survive to flowering size.

I love Geraniums Carol, and I've been growing them from seed for years. They even grow and bloom indoors here over the winter! I wish you luck with yours.
