![]() Thanks Mary. The red cup on the left is your chocolate mint, and the one on the right is your rosemary.

![]() Thanks!
The bushy thing is potatoes, and since I posted that pic, they've gotten so tall, that they're laying over with new branches growing up. They've doubled in a week, from what you see there. The plants on the right are peppers, and I just picked my first banana pepper today. The tomatoes are still small, but will soon be ready to put into large pots. The Tropic variety was definitely the leader of the pack, until Noop pushed one of the peppers over and broke it (effing cats). Having to start from scratch on the Tropic now, but it germinated in less than a week, so I should catch up quickly. The Tropic is definitely my pick (no pun intended) for tomatoes now.

![]() Hey Mike, they say a picture is worth a thousand words. This is what the spuds have done since I posted that last pic. You can see how they have lain over and spread, and the cluster of flowers is above the orange planter. This is in what, five days? Time to raise the peppers up now, to catch up to the rising "sun."
Oops,, my mistake. TWO DAYS!!!

![]() According to
https://www.amazon.com/9006-LED-Head...CYD/ref=sr_1_5 an LED headlight bulb is 50 watts for an efficiency of 10,000/50 = 200 lumens/watt. Maybe, I am not reading the specs correctly or the manufacturer is lying because that is twice as efficient as other LED lights? Compare that with an LED bulb for household lighting: https://www.homedepot.com/p/EcoSmart...2006/308619675 1650/15 = 110 lumens/watt and LED shoplight: https://www.harborfreight.com/10000-...ght-56780.html 10000/100 = 100 lumens/watt Incidentally, you could have used an old computer power supply. |

![]() Headlights use COB, just like the blinding grow lights, so that's probably the difference.

![]() Does anyone happen to know if I could use the 10000 lumen light from Menards in my ceiling light fixture? I only have 1 rather small heat light now and I have tons of plants that might not be getting the light they need! I mean is it safe to use that in a regular light fixture? Thanks in advance for any help!

![]() Just remember Dear, you're going to have to turn that light on and off manually if you screw it into the ceiling. I'm thinking Orifice Despot may carry those snake lights I was referring to before though. They may not be on the flexible cable any more though, but I think they make adjustable lights on swingarms now, like I have my mic mounted.
I may actually look into these for next year, depending on where I am.

![]() Well, I finally got my potato harvest yesterday! And it was a potato. Apparently, the concrete was too cold, so despite the flowers and wonderful foliage, I got a single spud the size of a quarter.

![]() And a horrible finish! That was my ENTIRE harvest.
![]() Good news is that I have tomatoes on my first Everglades already, the size of my pinky nail. I thought they had to be pollinated, but apparently not! ![]()
