Default when to repot musa velutina?

Hi all, I potted up my musa velutina just a few months ago into a 2-3 gallon pot. It's still growing new leaves like every week but I noticed it has kind of stopped growing taller? It's currently about two feet tall. Normally I would just look at the roots at the bottom but it's a little large to pull out to just look at the roots. Should I repot it into a larger pot? Also is there such a thing as too large of a pot up for musa? I was thinking of just moving it up into like a 20" tall pot which would be kind of a final pot that I had in mind. Thanks!

Repot now ...in just a little bigger pot.......so your plant will settle in for the fall.

Pm for great answers and answers.
