Not sure...kind of looks like FHIA-1, but looks nothing like the FHIA-1 that is 75' away. Shorter stature.

Dwarf brazillian popping. There is one psuedostem behind this one that looks twice the width! Should be a much larger bunch. These things are stout!

2 just harvested Dwarf Cavendish and goldfinger I believe is the smaller one (mixed up my goldfinger and mysore plants, assume mysore is bigger)

Those bananas in the smaller bunch look like Mysore, not Goldfinger, to me.

Ironically, Goldfinger bananas (FHIA-01) are not finger size. They are larger, though their size varies with how they are cared for, which is true of any banana. Mysore are closer to finger size and have a more pointed "nose", like the ones in your photo.

Thanks V- I have an aka goldfinger mat - that i suspect is a NOT Goldfinger
but, the nanas are very tasty.
Does FHIA-01 have persistent male flowers - dirty brachis? sp.

I think the answer gets complicated because there are some slightly different variants of FHIA-01. The classic one has a clean rachis, at least the few I've seen. But there are other variants that have a somewhat dirty rachis. Not like Dwarf Brazilian, which retains everything, but a little messy.

I transplanted a pup from one of my tall namwas (14'+ with 300 finger bunch) to my Mother's yard in Spring 2018. A marginal location and not much attention results in a 7' plant with 40 fingers.
