And another one: Not sure yet, what this one is. Will post more details as it progresses, but I received the corm from a CRFG member who did not know the ID. It is a dwarf and stout plant, inflorescence at 6'. Open petiole, lined with red stripe. Dwarf Brazilian maybe? Any input welcomed. |

Re: What's blooming in your garden? (bananas)
I am so jealous of many of the plants I have seen on here. I am in Missouri and have been trying my best just to keep mine alive. I don't have a greenhouse so I have to take them up every fall. This is the best so far this year. Try not to laugh.

Re: What's blooming in your garden? (bananas)
Can anyone identify these. My first bananas and didn't have a clue when I bought tem. Plants about 9 to 10 ft tall. I am in the Daytona Beach area. Do you think I will have time for them to grow properly.

Re: What's blooming in your garden? (bananas)
Just love the beauty of the bloom.
Sorry. didn't rotate this one Has anyone ever seen honey bees going for the blossoms of their bananas? Just wondering as I have some hives right next to them. Brian Last edited by Brian_Banana : 09-08-2014 at 09:12 PM. Reason: question for the group. |

Very pretty inflorescence.
There are lots of bees on mine. I thought they were my neighbors honey bees. |
