My original pup bloomed in 14 months. planted in great soil and fairly large. These new pups attached to the main corm took one year to bloom. I removed one of the pups laST YEAR and planted it separately, its now 3 feet PS so I guess it will bloom early in the summer next year or during the winter .. ![]()

![]() Supposed to be Pitogo. Sure hope so. 18 months from small pup to flower. Some interesting color on this one. The plant itself is totally green. Please weigh in if it doesn't seem to be Pitogo. I guess I should know in a couple weeks, as the fruit should be pretty obviouisly stubby early on from pics I've seen.
UPDATE: Not Pitogo, it's a Praying Hands. ![]() ![]() Last edited by robguz24 : 09-08-2013 at 10:47 PM. |

![]() How tall is your Pitogo at flower emergence? I resurrected mine after many years potbound. The last time I had fruit it was about the same height as PK. Medium tall at 14 ft.

![]() Basjoo, two plants, dwarf Orinoco hanging and Namwah is sending up flag leaf which is late in the year. As long as are weather stays normal it should have time to throw fruit, but making it long enough for me to remove it to ripen would be tough. If we had a normal spring and summer these would have bloomed months ago. First flowers and fruits I ever had so can't complain

![]() Good bunch Nick. Now folks can see why fruit are bagged. Pristine skins for the market.
Did the PBP say if and when they will publish your pic? |
