Re: What did you plant today (bananas)?
I planted a Golden African and Ice Cream a couple of months ago. Immediately after I planted these the temperature dropped into the high 20's and I thought I had lost the plants. I then ordered a another Ice Cream and a Misi Luki. Right after I planted the new bananas I found the original plants leaving out from what I thought were dead stalks.
Today I was at my local nursery and found a beautiful Ice Cream banana. I couldn't help but buy it and plant it this afternoon. I just hope my wife doesn't realize I've planted our whole yard in bananas. |

Re: What did you plant today (bananas)?
I've planted out 4 Basjoos and around 10 Sikkmensis during the past 2 weeks. Also have put 2 SDC in the ground too. Been cold up here to do much, but i'm liking what i'm seeing in regards to Sikkmensis. They are already throwing up new leaves! something my Basjoos last year didn't do for about a month (transplant shock, i'm guessing)...
