yep we sure are. everything i have outside got covered at 4 pm yesterday and will stay covered till tuesday. it started raining yesterday and felt like sleet. cannas and hostas are coming out this time of year so those will be fine.

they all stayed covered till about 8 am this morning. then i went out and planted my 3 d.o. well...6 if you count the 3 pups. they looked so "wrong" sitting in their pots on top of their new beds.

I planted a Babaco Papaya & Minneola Tangello tree.I cant wait to see some fruit from both new addition's to the backyard.I also just recieved a nice new pup Praying Hands from Stokes Tropicals.I'll have to get some pics uploaded so you can see them.

I'm so excited i ordered my second banana Ice Cream banana from rare bananas i read that it will tolerate the heat here in Vegas better wail u guys are worried about the cold I'm sweting the heat get it sweting the heat lol i know a bad joke what can i say!

i still have 8 cannas to plant and the other nanas listed below. that does not include what hasnt come out of my den yet. lol. i still have my orinoco, saba, zebrinas, musa lasiocarpa pups that i need to seperate off the mom plant. i need to transplant my d.c. in to a bigger pot, but that will wait a week or two. plus my majstic palm( im actually gonna plant that outside, just dont know where yet.im gonna cover that palm like randy did his palm and see if it will come back next year. and im running on about 4 hours of sleep. ill sleep well tonight!
. and a few others that have to be planted on the north side of the house. |
