![]() About 350 corms;
5 species/varieties :- Sikkimensis, Sikkimensis 'Red Flash', Nagensium X, Ornata 'Aurea', Laterita Well, I actually sort of 'heeled' most of them into holding trays, but it still took ages. ![]() I would bet a beer or two that with the possible exception of silly little TC starts there are more bananas in my back garden than anywhere else in the UK (unless someone knows otherwise?). get in... ![]()

Mind you, I do have to put up with all the shoes you girlies seem to possess, I just about got away from town without buying her a new red handbag this morning. I mean, she's got loads already, and there's always carrier bags available. Women eh... ![]()

Wait... I'm already married. Sigh... Well, my BIL collects anything Budweiser and has a room dedicated to his collection, and others around here collect rusty old junk cars that sit on their property for years, or filing cabinets full of comic books that never get looked at, so I guess we're not doing so bad after all - for us it's a growing investment. ![]() Be well, Mike |

![]() Today, I finally transplanted into a larger pot my Super Dwarf Cavandish. Roots were growing out the bottom, so it was time. Hope my soil mix works, I used two parts Miracle Grow Cactus Citrus and Palm mix and one part Perlite. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I also transplanted into a larger pot my Siam Ruby seedling. I used a one to one ratio for her.

![]() I planted seedlings of Velutina and Itinerans (3 days ago)!!! These have been germinating around 2 weeks (after a 3 day soak). Other varieties in the germination station have began to germinate, but haven't formed their shoot or any roots yet.
Itinerans!! The first pic is day 2 since planting, the third is day 3. Look at that growth in ONE DAY!!! |

![]() well i havent planted any yet....thats not to say the basjoos arent sitting in their prospective new homes..their just in their new homes in their pots. im trying to decide if i want to spread them out across the yard or to clump a few. my 3 d.o. are going in the same matte(that i know for sure) but the ornatas and then trying to decide if i want to put my saba and orinco in the ground. or if i should wait another season. but im thinking if i wait they might just get to big to move. my saba is already over 4 ft. tall and my orinco is already 5 ft. tall and hes leaning to the side. there will also be cannas and sagos and ee's going into the beds . any ideas and suggestions would be appriciated. thanks
