Multiple bunches on Dwarf Brazilian
Hello all,
Can one plant have multiple bunch's? My Dwarf Brazilian flowered late January and the fruit was harvested end of June. I cut that stem down and almost immediately it flowered again. This bunch is concerning as the bananas seem thinner and more separated in the bunch. I thought it may be due to a lack of water as we were traveling in July-August and we seem to be getting less rain this year in South Florida. Yesterday I notice another blossom on another stem. Is this typical to have multiple bunches on one plant? I will upload pics as soon as I have time. |

Re: Multiple bunches on Dwarf Brazilian
Each stem is its own "plant" so each stem will fruit. a good mat with multiple plants on it will often have multiple flowers at the same time.
