![]() Hey Ya'll
Here is some of my yard. Back porch actually. I have to start over on my yard. Well here were go. You can kind of see that the yard through the iron. You might be able to see the yard is really nothing but grass, a few trees, and a thicket. I have LOTS of work to do. ![]()

![]() Lot's of beautiful yards here. Reminds me I still have lot's of work left to do. I've got some new ideas now.
Entrance Archway: Welcome to my humble abode. Part of front yard Zebrina and hibiscus Some of the assortment. Early spring in the garden My little gardening buddy, the Musa 'BASsetJOO'. She's out there with me everytime I'm gardening. Same garden archway in early August. I used to put lots of things around the front porch in pots but I got tired of the plant thieves. Dang thievin' little old ladies. I give away more than I keep because I don't have enough room for everything to stay. I either give away starts or often just keep a start and give away the mother plant. All they would have to do is ask. Now if I don't plant it directly in the ground I don't bother at all unless it's something I don't mind risking. |

Yep, did the archway myself. I made a topiary frame out of 1/4 inch steel wire to guide me when trimming and help support the weight of snow. Then let the hedge grow up into it. |

The blooms in the pic look like some sort of Hedychium, but the foliage underneath is definitely not hedychium. Is the plant that is blooming leaning over the other plant? If not, I am not sure what it is, but looks intriguing... |

![]() I agree with Randy; the bloom looks like hedychium, but the foliage is something else. What does that leave us? The canna is (again) Tropicanna/Phaison.
