After seeing Randy4uts pics of his back yard, I got the idea that it would be cool to start a thread where we could all post pics of our yards. I think it is great to see how people incorporate different types of plants and other features in their landscaping, so PLEASE ..., consider adding yours to this thread. It's also a good way to document changes by updating new pictures.
I have a small city lot so space is my biggest issue! This is the backyard , pics are clockwise from left: Manzano(back left hidden), FHIA-3,D.Namwah,D.Brazilian,Nino,Belle,Sh3640,Misi Luki,H.ColorMini In pots:Siam Ruby,D.Cavendish,Pernambuco pineapples, Logee's Ladyfiger(not pictured) I have some bamboo behind the larger bananas that can't really be seen, and still have pineapple plants that need to be planted, so I'll have to update some time later! Hope you enjoy!

I've never had a yard to grow bananas in, but this is the closest thing I have. I these are pretty much the last of my plants for now, my parents are only keeping the 'Rose' and the 'Saba', I'm just waiting for the M. rubinea fruits to ripen before it goes to the Denver Botanic Gardens.
'Rose' (fruiting) and 'Saba' Musa rubinea fruiting

Sailfish,
Just a little FYI on posting pics... When you are wanting to post a pic, click on the small picture in the above tool bar... A little window will open with "URL: " in it... Just copy and paste the URL from your photobucket picture that you want to post in the small window that opened and then click OK... Give it a try... ![]() |

Yeah I had tried that.
But you made me go back and relook and I see what happened. and I fiugred it out. Photobucket has that "share" link now, well I copied that url into the image pop up window instead of the actual URL for posting the image. doh ![]() Thanks!!

Glad to hear you got it... I really enjoy seeing others pics, but sometimes time is a factor and I don't like to wait to see through a link, so posting directly on thread is "instant gratification!!!"

Hi Y'all ,
This is my place , all the beds in thepic (visible Part)are new ! We worked all spring on them and they are starting to fill in . There is an even newer bed on the other side of the drive . The bushy green mess all about is my verigated pepper plants . I thought they would look good, and they do UP CLOSE , as a ground cover / filler . Next year I'm only using ee's and coleus for this .

Oh Gabe, were did your bananas gone ?
You were my "Hero" keeping so many Musa in your home (and flowering them ˇˇˇ) . I liked very much the video tours "safari" you take for us to your private jungle. Nice yardsˇˇ and a nice beach Erlend (very different from the spanish ones during summertime) Here are some pictures of my garden (you will see some wires and other "devices", they are for protecting my plants from my young "digging dog") FRONTYARD BACKYARD |
