I just want an enameled cast iron dutch oven now.

Maybe bigbananaboy has the answer :lurk:

Mitchel, I have had a some cookware from Le Creuset and 1 French Oven that I have had for 20 years now and it works great. You're paying for quality here.

Le Creuset retains heat extremely well and you do not need to season it with the enamel coating. You can look at Staub cookware but, Lodge is cheap crap! IMO. Buy smart and get the Le Creuset French Oven you will thank me... They are also known as "La Cocotte."

Cold weather, two days of work, large working group, lot of singing, whole Christmas feeling, for everything else there is a MasterCard:ha:

I agree. Some people look at price which I understand, but for me its quality and longevity is important for cooking great food. :08:

So Mitchel Reach down deep and get the Le Creuset :lurk: and I will be glad to come over and sample to make sure it taste good of course.... :ha:
