Hi Sherry and everyone. I planted my lavender and purple datura seeds today. I'm soaking my pink wisteria seed also and some redbud seeds. I also and soaking 4 types of palms I got from Dean. I have ALOT of seeds for each one. One is Fishtail palm, the other 2 are dwarf sugar palms, and the last is a pretty palm that is native to the solomon Islands

Wow, sounds great Cam! Dean sure was good to ya!
![]() Good luck with everything. ![]() I'm just hanging out tonight, making a late chicken dinner. It won't be ready for a bit though. I only got home a little while ago and I'm starved. ![]() I posted some shots of more seeds I have available in the seed trader's thread. Be sure to check it out Cam, and anything you want...just let me know. I'm mailing to you anyway, so I may as well send you the things you enjoy. I've got a lot of seeds right now and I don't mind sharing. : ) |

Yes Dean was incredibly nice. I have so many palm seeds that i dont know what to do with them lol. I hope they germinate. I ate a flatbread sandwich for dinner with some pringles lol. I will definitely check out your seed thread Sherry, though I have so many seeds from Dean right now. I'm wanting the datura to take over parts of my yard.

Re: Insomnia Thread...
Take it from me Cam...you can never have too many seeds!
![]() They can be stored in your fridge for a later time. No pressure though, just if you want something, let me know. Better to share them than keep them to waste. ![]() I think it's great you got so many cool seeds from Dean! Share the extra seedlings or sell them. Remember JaNan was saying some lady made a killing selling her extra plants on eBay!!! : ) |

Good evening everyone! Did I mention the garlic I planted in containers in the basement has sprouted. It only took about 3 days. They are about 4 inches tall right now. It appears that so far the fungus gnats are staying clear. Though I did see them near the seeds I started for planting outdoors so they may have just moved.

I'll include some for you in your envelope, Cameron...thanks for letting me know.
![]() Hi Tom. ![]() Fungus gnats really suck. I use a bottle of dishsoapy water to spray them and the soil. Fortunately I don't have any right now and I'd like to keep it that way. ![]() : ) |

Hi Tom and Sherry. Good evening to you both. Thanks so much Sherry, I just love those plants. I set the dragon fruit outdoors since its been in the 80s lately. Congratulations Tom. I'm growing alot of things from seed this year. I have to plant my 4 types of palm seeds tomorrow. Luckily after spraying with an alcohol solution and then spraying with dishsoap i havent seen many gnats or even white flies. I turned my humidifier on and it seemed to run alot of them off lol

Don't worry too much about sending me seeds...I have more than enough of what I need. I just want to share some with you to build up your seed collection. I have too many and there's no point in them wasting.
Keep in mind that these seeds are all new and fresh and if stored properly in a cool spot they can retain their viability for many years to come. ![]() : ) |

Yup, and I have the purple/red variety...it's stunningly gorgeous, Cam!
![]() You realize though that castor bean is poisonous? Even the seeds...so don't eat them! ![]() The seedlings are adorable when they emerge and look like little pink flamingos! Here were mine... ![]() They grow super fast too. ![]() : ) |

Those are cute. I remember my mom saying that they are poisonous I'll plant them on the side of my yard which gets partial sun. I like plants that grow super fast. I read that if it gets to 32 degrees then they die so I guess it isnt hardy lol. I hope i could get seeds off of it before it dies. But I would love some Sherry

If you want a pratically instant huge plant...this is the one for you! It ends up 6 feet tall or more, in a very short time.
![]() The color is stunning. No doubt you'll get some seeds off your specimen in Fall, Cam. : ) |

Thats perfect i definitely want something that will get huge. The area on the side has plenty of room, and it gets quite a bit of sunlight especially during the afternoon
