Thanks Janan. I dont know if its the dwarf type of the tall type. I hope it's the tall type. I got the corm from Dean. Its already developing its second leaf. I bought some composted manure, mulch and some tomato fertilizer for it, but I'm waiting until it gets bigger before I do feed it. Sherry I had an ok weekend. My computer crashed so I'm using my sisters. I may not be online much, but hopefully I will be able to get it fixed. I got some sedum cutttings and some ice plant cuttings today from my friend. I also got a hoya cutting. The ice plant gets purple daisy like flowers.

Hi all. I just got back from California. When I got home I found my blueberry bushes had leafed out a lot and my black berry bushes grew some canes by about 2 feet. Also, several of the sunflowers have their first real leaves. How fast do they grow? Right now they are about 1" tall.

Sunflowers are fast growing, like most annuals, Tom.
Great that your blueberry and blackberry bushes are doing wellHope everyone is having a great 'May two-four weekend'!!! This is a huge Canadian long weekend for us, with it being a holiday tomorrow...Victoria Day. Lots of fireworks, camping, bar-b-ques, and for some...drinking. ![]() It's also a Canadian tradition that it rains on May two-four weekend and today of course, it is! ![]() So I hope things are well and everyone is having a good Sunday. I haven't been around as much lately...lots going on. So who's around and wants to chat? ![]() : ) |

Hey Zac!
![]() I was thinking about you lately and was going to send an email. I'd like to send you some stuff in June. ![]() Do you think later, I could get another couple small pieces of that tri-color sedum you gave me before? I had it growing but accidently left the bathroom window open this winter and it died! ![]() I was also wondering if you checked out the seed traders thread...let me know what you might want. You too, Greg. ![]() So how are you, Zac? Done school now? : ) |

Yup, they're still scheduled for dusk...9:30-ish. Leaving at nine because it's just up the road from where I live.
So how are you, Cam? Everyone else seems to have disappeared. I just posted a new funny thread. Hope you guys will participate. I'd enjoy knowing who you find annoying also. Hope you enjoy my pics. ![]() I'll be home after the fireworks. They never last long. : ) |

Well I'm so glad that they are continuing as scheduled, I love fireworks. I've been ok, we had some rough weather here today and tomorrow may be worse.

Sorry to hear that. We just finished a brief thundershower but the skies are clearing and the fireworks are still on. I like them too, Cam.
So fun. It's real quiet here these days. Are people shy, or just busy? I guess it's the warm weather too...people are outside and enjoying their gardens. ![]() All my stuff is doing great but I lent my camera to one of my girlfriends for the long weekend so I can't show shots just yet. I've got peppers everywhere! How are all your pepper seedlings doing, Cam? : ) |

I have to keep an eye on the weather tomorrow because we may see tornadoes, hopefully there wont be any. I couldnt believe the tornado damage in Missouri I think 116 people died maybe more. Well I checked on my seedlings and every pepper plant has come up and so have the Jerusalem cherries. The biggest are the banana peppers which have 4 leaves on them. I had them in a shady area to protect them from the heavy rain so after tomorrow I'll move them back in the sun. Hopefully I will be planting them soon.
