I am in zone 9b and we only have about 225-275 chill hours a year here. And most of the good cherries require between 400-700 chill hours. |

Are they any good? I'm trying to find a replacecement for cherries because when I eat them, I get kind of an allergic reaction... But I love the taste...

How did they taste? How long did it take them to mature from flower to fruit?

American Beauty is one of my favorites. It takes about 35-40 days from flower to fruit here in coastal San Diego county.

I've been picking quite a few jaboticaba lately. This is the first year it has set a heavy crop for me. I bought it as a fairly large tree in 2008.
