This is what happens when your containers tip over and you do not catch it.
This took four days for the bend to get as far as it did. I have three choices to make them straight, all which I have used in the past. 1. Tip the container on a slant the opposite direction, this takes a while. 2. Reposition the plant to vertical position and repot the plant in a fresh soilless mix, this is the quickest. 3. Cut and reposition the corm in a vertical position and plant in fresh soiless mix, this takes a while and your plant will be shorter When one sees this it is truly an OH SNAP moment. .[ Last edited by cincinnana : 05-14-2016 at 08:51 PM. Reason: added more choices which also have worked |

The last few days the wind has been blowing all my stuff over, it gets to be a pain. My Brugmansias are all messed up now because if they fall over the branches will grow upright in less than 24 hours.

yeah that looks like the one although there is some content missing
i am guilty of doing that as well.....(deleting/editing) back to the bent stem topic some of my plants were too tall to stand upright when i brought them indoors so i propped the container on a 45< angle the plants tried their hardest to right themselves pointing up... not towards the light source i kept rotating.. until they gave up and went dormant brought them outside recently and they have started growing again and have righted themselves Last edited by subsonicdrone : 06-05-2016 at 07:22 AM. |

Those stems are not bent. The pot is on crooked! At least the new pups knows which way is up.
