Greetings Everyone!
Hello, My name is Bill. I live in Apopka, Florida (Zone 9b) and would like to grow some bananas here.
I currently have a variety called "Ice Cream" and a plantain type variety that a friend gave me. She couldn't remember the name though. Neither have fruited for me, which is frustrating. I'm looking to obtain some dwarf/semi-dwarf varieties that have good leaf wind resistance and will produce fruit. If anyone has any recommendations or plants available for purchase, I would appreciate hearing from you. |

 Have fun here  .Apopka is the the heart of growing plants for the north. You are in banana plant heaven.... Craigslist has many varietys in the price range you are looking for. In your area. Nurseys/bigbox stores in your area carry plants you want also . P |
