‘Nanners are notoriously hungry feeders, fond of that extra blast of potassium but if recently repotted, will frequently produce their growth primarily as roots, & when the pot gets filled, the topside takes off.
You can prune the dead brown & yellow leaves, leave the green. They help feed, even if well tattered.
