Default newbanana treebee

Hi I am from New Jersey; I had a beautiful banana tree indoors and I tried to move it outside 2 days back. it turned out to be a very hot day and it burnt quite a few of the leaves; so I brought them back in. I saw that yesterday was nice and I took it out again; however, because of the wind and the flaky weather I lost about half the leaves.
does it make sense to leave the tree outside and take a chance or should I move them back in?
moving back and forth does not help either; as with every move I seem to damage it more.
Help please!!
