Default Hello From West Michigan

Hi all, I've been lurking for some time now trying to learn as much as I can. Over the last winter I managed to kill 4 musa basjoo that I had in pots and a couple of dwarf cavendish as well. Needless to say I'm about to throw in the towel when it comes to pots.... long story short, I made nice with a local technical skills center greenhouse guy and managed to procure about 25 dwarf red and dwarf Brazilians in 8 inch pots and about 16-20 inches tall. I decided to plant all of them in the ground and see what happens.

Here's a photo of what I'm working with.

Being that I'm in zone 5b/6a.... what am I looking at doing with these things to overwinter? Is the only option to dig them up?
