What a pretty flower. All done pollinating. Flashlite in mouth, up a ladder, I cut anthers off & pollinated...put some in jar & in fridge. I'll post pics later.... hoping I will get a fruit....

Oh how exciting! I am actually watching it open...I'll post pics little later. It is going to be HUGE. I will save some pollen to pollinate the red ones when they're ready.

I just took a pic of it...it's starting to open! Gonna go take another....till it's open & then hand pollinate.

The red one last yr was 4 inches long. In fact, look at the last pic of plant & the long segment at left, you can see the lite green fruit & the dried up flower at bottom of that...

Noah, by red & yellow, I mean the color of the outside of the fruit. Some reds have white pulp & some have red pulp. The red I got last year was white inside

Last year I got my first Vietnamese red dragon fruit after 5-6 years (only one). I have 3 more flower buds now (4 have died or will die), and now I have a yellow DF flower bud ready to bloom. Here...
