The plants in the conservatory don't look like Musa Basjoo in my opinion; Musa Basjoos usually have different looking petioles with "wings" on the side. Also, leaves and petioles are usually wider...

I live in Norway, and it seems Sikkimensis settle in the ground faster, and grow much better at cooler temperatures than Basjoo. But in terms of winter-hardiness basjoo...

Looks like Musa balbisiana, or that "unknown seeded variety" growing along the coast of the meditteranean countries.

It's most likely not a dwarf cavendish, as these usually have a red-brown colour...

Fresh or not, they all most likely come from rarepalmseeds.com, unless they are already crossing champa and sikkimensis somewhere else!
