So, I cut back the banana stalks back to the ground because the 20 F winter spikes have killed many banana varieties. After my chore was complete. I lay frost blanket down over the exposed areas...

One last freeze.....I think
Another mild winter thanks to global warming..../ponders that for a moment.
Anyways, its seems 95 percent of the pseudo stems will have survived another winter making them close to 18-24 months old....
