The Maurellis were bought last year and grown in the ground all summer before going into giant 24 inch pots.
Here they are last winter, the ventricosum can be seen in the background....

I would recommend cutting off all roots and rot..take off a couple of layers if needed...as you cut into the flesh of the corm you will see the little bud sites...they should come back with care..you...
