I removed these and have been keeping them in the garage and misting them. So far after a few days no wilting at all! May not even need to trim a single leaf....

What type are these bananas

They were mislabeled tissue culture bananas. The plant is fairly short like 10 ft or less maybe 8ft.

The banana is firm and good tasting and has a thin peel. They are really good. Its a keeper. ...

praying hands threw out a flower even after bei g blown over and repropped. the AEAE is repropped and still looks ok also.

I'm not even sure which place it came from and it wasn't supposed to be a blue java. Ill have to check the tag but its not what it was advertised as.

I tried the fruit and its really fluffy and a little dry. Im not that impressed with the fruit. They have a nice size and color but the flesh is a little on the dry size and not very flavorful. ...

It should flower soon. I dont do anything special for my bananas, they are just on a sprinkler timer and grow themselves really. Shoot some fertilizer into the irrigation line a few times a year,...

They were supposed to be sweetheart banana tissue culture from Larry. From agristarts. I dont know what thry are but they are fatter than store bananas. Any ideas?

Tissue cultures grow fine but my experience is they are never what they are advertised to be. I think agristarts is selling nurseries a whole bunch of wrong banana plants. Then it gets even worse...
