Anyone growing Puerto Rican "Red Rocket"?
I found these beauties at Urban Tropical's website. They have red pseudostems, reddish leaves, grow massively tall and fast, and are supposedly cold hardy to Zone 8b.
Google provides not much info on this one, just a lot of references to Dwarf Puerto Ricans. |

Re: Anyone growing Puerto Rican "Red Rocket"?
I ordered a dwarf red tissue culture and its the tallest and fastest growing tree I have. Looks exactly like this red rocket variety.

Re: Anyone growing Puerto Rican "Red Rocket"?
Appears to be a Plantain, there are a number of cultivars with reddish plants as that one appears to be, but I don't know which exactly.

Re: Anyone growing Puerto Rican "Red Rocket"?
