Re: I'm going to The Big Island!

I'm sure Rob would love a visit. I would have you visit my place but it's not really worth a trip out at this point.

I am not sure where any farms are though.

Good luck.

Re: Can you confirm my Suspicion: Black Sigatoka

I use neem pellets that are 5-1-2 that help against that sort of thing. My main trouble are corm weevils(and pigs). It doesn't seem to completely keep them away. I hate to drench the soil and kill...

It can also be caused by a deficiency. I dont recall which one. One of the tissue culture plants I put in the ground is slightly doing this. It should adjust itself over time. Gave it a large dose if...

Re: For a friend

He's in Austin. He has a pretty good idea of what a banana needs as far as care. I think he would have to try both for starters to be sure they would survive in ground. I think getting quality...

Re: Effect of Post Shooting Bunch Spray of Chemicals on Bunch Characters ...

Re: Foliar Spray Mixes for Bananas

We make a FPJ with Crotaleria that works really well. Sugar and plant material is not only safe but easy to make. Use banana or other fruit for a flowering FPJ.

Good luck.
