Unfortunately the supposedly USDA TARS FHIA-1 Real Deal Goldfinger turned out to be a fake one!.....Seems that it's another FHIA-1 Goldfinger off-type clone!....I will keep growing it until harvest time and to taste some of the fruit!......Very frustrating and disappointed!.....But God's it is awesome!.....Hopefully I will come back next time around with the true USDA TARS FHIA-1 Goldfinger!.....I won't give any further details!.....Trust me, it will be soon!.....I will keep the forum update!......

Keeps raining very frequently in here, South Florida, specially in the afternoons, evenings!.....Nana plants are thriving with all this Nana nectar (rain)!....

The Supposedly USDA TARS FHIA-1 Goldfinger it's definitely something else!.....Has been showing indicators/characteristics vey similar to The SH-3640 High Noon!.....It might be another SH-3640 High Noon or an off-type clone of The FHIA-1 Goldfinger!.....












Beautiful Fe'i Aiuri keeps growing nicely!....Opened a new bigger leaf and started to push out the new cigar leaf quickly!.....













Tu'u Ghia Monster Grower keeps pushing out and opening new leaves very quicly!.....Amazing grower!.....












FHIA-21 Plantain bunch keeps fill-in nicely!.....FHIA-21 bunch has been heavily propped!....It's a must!.....










SH-3640 High Noon should be flowering, blooming soon!....Right now, it's approx. 10 ft. tall and keeps growing!.....Has been consistently flowering, blooming at that height!....












TARS Praying Hands corm finally started to push!....Thanks to my bro Ty, for sending me an awesome TARS Praying Hands corm!.....It was transplanted in the ground at the beginning, because of the frequent rain, I had to transplanted, moved to a more dry location!....Finally it rooted!....It should take off growing soon!......I will wait until develops/opens 3 to 4 leaves then back to the ground!....

When are you thinking of taking the bracing off Tu'u Ghia,do you also think it might have been better to put a temporary clear plastic cover on praying hands while it was in the ground to keep the rain off, saving you the hassle of lifting it out of the ground.

I have had moment's like that "praying hands" when you think you might have lost the plant as the whole p-stem rots away only to see a remarkable recovery.

Thanks for the very good questions and suggestions my friend!......I will wait for Tu'u Ghia to grow more taller and the temporary brace will come off!....I have observed that most AA Nana Varieties are kind of weak, fragile when they are small....Also, another factor is Tu'u Ghia was a TC plant when I acquired....Right now, she is getting stronger, robust, thicker as she keeps open new leaves!....

Good call!....That is another very good option to leave it on the ground and cover it!....But I have observed and it's in my case, that corms roots faster and push out leaves more quick in pots (controlled environment) than on the ground!....

Woooohooooo my bro! Amazing. Seeing your Tu’u ghia makes me wanna go beat mine with a stick!! Mine is pushing a lot faster now. Just had to get going I guess.

Wow sweetheart bunch is amazing! Sweetheart is one of my favorite Musa to grow! It is so fast and with pruning I can actually get it about a month away from being filled! I have a new idea for the sweetheart I will try this winter! But even if I can never get fully filled fruit here ai will be happy just watching my sweethearts grow every year! Nothing like it!

So sorry about the goldfinger. I figured yours was 100% real because I know your source has the real deal goldfinger. This makes me wonder if ALL the “Real” Goldfinger out there are fakes or off-types! Crazy! I think I know a source though! I’m working on it as we speak!

Tu'u Ghia it's an amazing grower, performer!....Since I transplanted her to the ground she hasn't stop growing, pushing out leaves like there is not tomorrow!.....It's incredible!....


FHIA-3 Sweetheart is definitely a "Monster Grower!".....She went thru a hell of a storm last year (very bad girl monster hurricane Irma), then thru a long winter, that seems that never ended!....She recovered and it's performing flawlessly!.....As you mentioned, nothing like it!.....It's amazing!.....


Don't worry about the FHIA-1 Goldfinger!....It's all good bro!.....

Juicy Bananas

They are an amazing plant. I have one tree left that is approximately the same size and sending out pups fast. It gets wind damge where it is though so I dont think it will make quite an impressive rack as last time.

I just pray the pigs stay away until I can afford to fence off the acre.

Very nice! Almost makes me want to drive down and visit for a few hours.


OH ... please reduce your picture size. They load up so big I can't see all of it a one time and have scroll the size down. ... I have a 10 1/2" laptop not a 32" monitor. Picture size should be less than 800 pixels wide.
