If you don't pay more attention to what you'r doing, and ruin a serviceable work shirt by trimming and cleaning up banana corms for shipment on it -- instead of a utility towel. Banana plant juice don't wash out, folks!!!
You can see the pstem cell divisions on a couple of stains. Sort of a naner custom tie-dye. |

Bananimal that's just awesome! To stay on topic *when you see your first banana plants start throw out flags and you decide you need more banana plants, even though you had set a limit for yourself in the first place* Rules are MADE TO BE BROKEN! Mwhahahaha!

When your 20X20 greenhouse that you overwinter things in has too many bananas in it for you to sell this year because they're getting too tall to haul to the farmers market or ship without chopping them totally down, and you receive another 360 via fed ex this week.
Need any bordelons or basjoo anyone for $15 each? pm me!

... when your latest and longest blog post is devoted to that prince of foods, the nanner!
Linky Linky! Oh, and Ms.Kitty which Spanish terms did your learn? In Ecuador there's a different word for every type of banana.... You might be a banana fiend if you know all of them and which banana or banana product they refer to.... (Banano, platano, maduro, verde, orito, seda, manolito, maqueño, rojito, bananito, and the products bolone, chifle, patacone, empanadita verde, repe, and many many more)

just the simple ones, my teaches would rather teach us which latino star is on dancing with the stars instead of things we really need to know. like how to order food, and how to get directions if we are lost these things we need to learn. so after i pass this class ill be getting the rosetta stone, so i can learn how to converse with real people and not just my tv.

Why would they throw plants away that aren't dead? I have some nice plants that grow fast and they are too expensive to through away. But after giving all of my friends cuttings, were can they go? I take a lot of material to nurserymen. I don't sell it, I give it away. And I get some amazing plants from those nursery people. Yesterday an orchid grower brought a C. skinneri division. Her plant was a seedling that turned out really good. I believe that I'm the only one that has a piece of it. I will try to put the picture in my gallery. |

#160 If every time you buy food in clear-domed platic containers because they would be a great seed propagating dish.............
#161 If you've ever gone 'dumpster diving' for 2 liter pop bottles, or anything else that you can make into a mini-greenhouse....... #162 If you have ever scoffed at the naysayers that tell you "Bananas won't grow there" and decide to prove them wrong......
