Sunfish, that bug might be a lacewing. If it is, there could be hair-like 1/2 inch long stalks on leaves with with white tips [eggs]. If it is, it eats insects and their eggs even mites!

I was taking some close up blossom pictures and found this stickery spider hiding in the branches of the shrub. He is really camouflaged well, don't you think?

These were def surprise visitors, lol! I didn't expect to see these around this close to Halloween! But we have some Monarchs too but they're camera shy.





And that is def the strangest catepillar I've ever seen!

This is the 17th scorpion that has been found in the house this year! The cats will kill them if I don't see them first, but I don't want them getting stung! Do you know they glow under a black light?
