I like the raw and natural look of it too, Janan. Doubt I'll paint it.


I just fed my two frogs and they were getting aggressive with each other. Not sure if both of them got something, or just one. One was trying to bite the other one's foot!


I was told they're a community frog and like to live in groups. I might get a couple more later. Hopefully these ones will get along.


You don't think one would kill the other?! Frogs aren't like that, are they? I really don't know much about them.


I've got the bowl packed away. I really bought it for my new place...wherever that ends up being.


I guess I should name the frogs soon.

Sherry I really don't know much about frogs so I can't be of any help. I would find the technical name of them and Google it. I'm sure that would help. If one is too aggressive over the other you may have to separate them until you get them in the larger container.

I never noticed it before I started feeding them. They seemed to be getting along well. I'll keep a close eye on them.

It may just be food aggression. Just try and watch that the other one gets some of the food.

I will definitely make sure Janan because that's something I'm concerned about. One looks bigger than the other and he's the one that's aggressive.


They've settled down now and are not attacking each other.


I'm gonna have fun setting up the new aquarium. Hope they like it. I might get a Betta fish, Janan! Gonna wait until Friday though when I go back to the stores one last time. I'll try to get a pretty one.

Good afternoon everyone. Janan I saw the Dark Crystal a couple of months ago. The last time I saw that movie was when I was a little kid lol. I really like those type of movies. Sherry I saw the pretty pink castle. I remember my frog acting the same way

Cam, the third movie that I couldn't think of was NeverEnding Story. The first one - it was the best one.

I saw your post in the pet thread Sherry. That sucks about the pet store Green Earth. You never know when somebody is trying to sell you a lie.

Sorry Janan but I've been busy setting up that aquarium. I've nearly got it going!!!


I'm gonna run it tonight for the first time and keep it going. It says it's best to wait 24 to 48 hours before adding anything living. I want to do this right and don't want to kill my little frogs before they even have a chance so I might wait a day or even two before I introduce them to their new pad.


Truth be told, I bet Jordan's just busy playing all those games he bought with that giftcard I got him for his birthday!


Omg, I now have to go get the bamboo plant out of the container the frogs are in, and I'm afraid! Not really afraid but just nervous. I can't have my hands touch their water, to pollute it even more! I hate that they have to stay in that stagnant water a couple more days but I don't want to risk killing them altogether. I hope there won't be a gaping hole when I take the plant out. How nerve racking.


Yeah, I'm pretty disgusted with Green Earth, Janan. Imagine even calling themselves "Green Earth" and keeping the poor little frogs in these conditions! The almighty dollar is more important than the quality of thier little lives. It's not right. Glad my frogs won't be living like that.

What kind of life span do your little frogs have? Do you know how old they are now?

They said 2-4 years, and longer if they're cared for. I wish now that I'd bought them from a petstore and not Black Earth...I mean Green Earth!

I remember the Neverending Story too. I haven't seen that movie in years. Sherry when you said that your frogs were nocturnal, my little froggie did the same thing. I can' t believe your frogs were fighting. I had some fish a few years ago called Green Terrors. I put 2 in a 29 gallon tank and I rarely saw them. They only came out during feeding time, anyways one kept picking on the other until he died. I saw them all in a community tank and I thought they would be peaceful to their own kind but I was wrong. The bully fish ended up jumping out of the tank, when I found him he was shriveled up. I put him back in the water and that revived him for a little while but he didn't have energy to swim. I was so sad because I lost both fish.

Cam you are such an early bird! I was trying to get you and Jordan's advice for Sherry's new aquarium in the pet thread. You and he have much more experience than I do.

That's terrible Cam. I'm worried if I put a Betta in there it might try to eat my frogs! I guess some people don't think that fish and frogs should be in the same tank.


I'm pretty confident about things now, other than that. Here's the aquarium today...





Do you think I should add the little guys tonight?

I need to check out the pet thread again lol. Sherry that setup looks great! If the temperature is right you should be able to add them in. I have a fish in the same tank as my turtle. They have been tankmates for years
