Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
Buttercups? Not the same species but in zone 9 we used to have one of the same genus.By the way, I forgot two this morning, a Glenn mango and a Heidi mango. See pictures. Best wishes, ![]() |

nope it was from the book "the secret garden". it is one of my favorite books. in virginia they have a weed that is called a buttercup, and you put it under you chin and if it shines yellow under your chin...you like butter( it was something we did as children.). when i moved here to tn, they call daffodils buttercups. i was confused and dazed for a while, cause all i saw were daffie-down -dillies.

Yes spring is not far behind. The wildflowers are beginning to bloom, and my miracle fruit in the last week has been blooming non stop. I have harvested many fruits and it is still setting fruit with green and ripening fruit on the plant. This is a first.![]() |

Blooming today is an aloe striata. Ready to bloom is a gasteria "Litte Warty" and just sending up a new flower stalk is a 3' aloe vera. When I get a digital camera I'll start taking pictures!

Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
Actually outside my garden...got a couple of blooming idiots from the city hall fogging the neighbourhood for mosquitos for weeks now. All they have been doing is chasing the bugs into the houses and biting the folks causing more harm than good.
