Default Question about growing kluay khai in a pot

Hello, I am planning to grow a kluay khai variety outdoor in a container. I dont need to overwinter it, but due to a lack of space am growing it in a pot. I would like it to fruit, so am wondering if a 20 gallon container (about 19.9 inch in diameter) should be enough ?

A 20 gallon container would work.
You can always upsize if need be.
