Hi
I’ve had my banana leaf plant (dwarf musa I think) in a container for about two years. The parent plant died and this is the surviving child plant. For the last two months I noticed there’s weird splotches on the leaves. The leaves otherwise look healthy and there is new growth coming in every few days. What are these splotches and what can I do to help the plant? The plant is outdoors in the spring/summer and indoors in the winter. I am near Dallas TX. TIA! That's normal. It is called "wine splotches". It is most prominent in young cavendish varieties. Yours appears to be a dwarf cavendish.
