![]() Hi all, I have a couple five gallon AeAe available. Message me for prices. These can be finicky to grow so I would like to sell them to more experienced growers if possible.
Thanks, Bill |

![]() Hi Bill
Looking to start growing one plant in Encinitas (north San Diego) for personal use. We have a place that is about 1.5 miles from the beach... curious about your recommendation for the right plant? First time grower. After reading your original post we are leaning towards the Dwarf Brazilian or even California Gold since it can be more cold resistant. Thoughts? Thank you! ![]() In that location you can grow almost anything. The ideal banana depends on what you want. Do you want something short, or tall? Do you want something to eat fresh? Or a good cooking banana? The California Gold is excellent as a plantain and only good to eat fresh. The Dwarf Brazilian and Gold Finger are both excellent and stay somewhat short. The Mysore is deliciouse and incredibly productive but the plant gets tall and needs proping. Dwarf Red is a beautiful short banana but it is very cold sensitive. Dwarf Namwa is also a winner. Short plant with a very sweet fruit.
Let me know what your looking for and I can make some better recommendations. Right now I only have Mysore and Brazilian ready to sell. I will have other varieties soon. Bill |

![]() Availability updated! Right now for sale I have some 15 gallon Dwarf Brazilian, 15 gallon Mysore and one 5 gallon Red Iholene. This is my last Red Iholene that I will have for sale. It is a very beautiful plant but it is cold sensitive. If you live within a couple of miles of the coast you can grow it.
