In that location you can grow almost anything. The ideal banana depends on what you want. Do you want something short, or tall? Do you want something to eat fresh? Or a good cooking banana? The California Gold is excellent as a plantain and only good to eat fresh. The Dwarf Brazilian and Gold Finger are both excellent and stay somewhat short. The Mysore is deliciouse and incredibly productive but the plant gets tall and needs proping. Dwarf Red is a beautiful short banana but it is very cold sensitive. Dwarf Namwa is also a winner. Short plant with a very sweet fruit.
