There have been some great photos submitted for this contest so far. However, the first thread states that there is to be one entry per person. If everyone would please stick to that, it will make judging much easier for those of us who will be doing it. Thanks everyone, and keep those awesome photos coming!

I don't take enough time to photograph in the summer, but this is my favorite from last year. I posted this before but improved the processing slightly for the contest.

By the way, the photo was taken September 6, 2008, and I just started eating these bananas this past week.

Great pic Harvey, is it me or does the end of each nanner look like a cartoon reindeer or dog with a punk rock hair do? Just asking cause I may be loosing my mind with all our snow and cold here! It is a great pic though, Thanks for posting it!

Harvey, it's a great pic, but after watching the lion king and various other video cartoons with my kids this winter, it just popped out at me, and after the holidays with Ruodolph and stuff, WOW! anyway, I love the way the Bees are doing their bussiness, reminds me of a post last year with the bee in flight! excellant! Thanks again!

Cuy are remarkably well-behaved rodents. Here, at least, if you ask your Cuy nicely not to eat your lettuces, he'll ususally stop. Then again, Cuy here know that if they don't stop, you're likely to barbecue them....

Actually where they come from, there's a big annual gourmet festival dedicated to them. Seems they taste real good. Sorry Andrei.....

Surely, no offence intended! However, Ms.Kitty, I will attest to the tastiness of a good BBQ Cuy. I'll take you some pics from the Cuy Festival next September, if I happen to be in the Mocha area.

Also, you're from Tennessee! You mean to tell me you've never eaten rabbit? Cuy is very similar in flavour and texture.

Yes, I agree, my rodents very gluttonous,

they eat almost all vegetation. When I left them at a window, to get warm on the sun they have started to taste my bananas which grew there. I am assured that if it to allow it to eat, they will eat it completely. Here such they bright. And so we feed with their tomatoes and cucumbers, even a banana peel and very much we love them. I heard that in any country they are used in food, and by them very much even tasty but so the life is arranged. The best regards!

im not from tennessee, i just live here. i was born in florida and raised in virginia.....i dont eat rodent, and yes a rabbit is a rodent. i dont eat squirrel either.yucky! now deermeat is another story.
